The Ministerio de Salud de Costa Rica used its official Twitter account in early February 2026 to issue a series of public health reminders and awareness messages. The posts addressed topics such as vaccination, cancer prevention, and school safety.

On February 4, 2026, the ministry posted: “El Ministerio de Salud recuerda a todas las familias la importancia de mantener el esquema de vacunación completo.” This message highlighted the ongoing importance of keeping vaccination schedules up to date for all families.

In recognition of World Cancer Day on February 5, 2026, the ministry shared: “En el Día Mundial Contra el Cáncer, recordamos que la prevención y la detección temprana salvan vidas. Hágase chequeos regulares y adopte hábitos saludables. Actúe, apoye, infórmese. Cada pequeño gesto cuenta. ¡Hoy todos podemos marcar la diferencia.” The post encouraged regular medical checkups and healthy habits as part of cancer prevention efforts.
