The Ministry of Health announced on April 27 the launch of new tools aimed at improving how users access information and receive guidance for their procedures.

This initiative is part of the Ministry’s ongoing commitment to enhance the experience for users by developing resources that make it easier to obtain institutional information and services.

According to the announcement, the Directorate of Transformation and Digital Health, through its Innovation and Digital Transformation Unit, has introduced several initiatives. These include a new section on the official website that allows quick access to frequently used procedures. The website can be accessed at https://www.ministeriodesalud.go.cr/index.php/tramites/tramites-frecuentes.

The Ministry has also released informational video capsules on YouTube, providing clear and practical content about common procedures. These videos are available for viewing across different devices at https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLPOOPN-yJlk5w0w3xUdCgO8ygPZsqsRQE.

Additionally, an interactive map directory with georeferencing has been made available. This tool helps users locate national Health Governing Areas using platforms such as Waze and Google Maps. The map can be found at https://www.ministeriodesalud.go.cr/index.php/contactenos/mapa-de-oficinas.

“These actions seek to strengthen access to services and provide more agile, clear, and closer attention to citizens,” said the Ministry in its statement.
