The Ministry of Health announced on April 25 that a scheduled maintenance window will take place on Wednesday, April 29, starting at 8:00 a.m. and lasting approximately three hours. During this period, the ministry’s digital systems and services will be temporarily unavailable due to an update of the institutional internet security certificate.

This planned outage is expected to affect all major digital platforms operated by the Ministry of Health. The ministry said these updates are necessary to improve security and ensure proper functioning of its online services.

“El Ministerio de Salud agradece la comprensión de la ciudadanía y reitera que estas labores son necesarias para fortalecer la seguridad y el adecuado funcionamiento de sus plataformas digitales,” the ministry said in its announcement.

The Ministry provided its contact information for further inquiries, including its office address in San José, Costa Rica, operating hours from Monday to Friday between 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m., and telephone number (506) 4003-5000.

Looking ahead, the Ministry emphasized that these efforts are part of ongoing measures to maintain reliable and secure access for users interacting with their digital platforms.
