The Ministry of Health announced on April 22 that a scheduled maintenance window will take place on Thursday, April 23, starting at 8:00 a.m. and lasting approximately eight hours. The technical work will involve updates to the ministry’s application servers.
This update is intended to apply security improvements to the servers in order to ensure the continuity, stability, and protection of the institution’s digital services. According to the ministry, information systems are expected to continue operating normally during this period; however, there may be temporary disruptions in communication or access to certain platforms at times.
The Ministry of Health said these efforts are aimed at strengthening both the security and efficiency of its services. “El Ministerio agradece la comprensión de la ciudadanÃa ante estas labores, que buscan fortalecer la seguridad y eficiencia de los servicios,” the ministry said.
No specific systems were listed as being affected in detail, but users have been advised that some platforms could experience brief interruptions while maintenance is underway.
Looking ahead, the ministry emphasized its commitment to maintaining robust digital infrastructure and thanked citizens for their understanding during these necessary technical upgrades.
