The Ministry of Health announced on April 7 that, due to remodeling work at the Aserrí Health Area facilities, all services and public attention will be temporarily relocated.

This change is necessary as part of institutional efforts to improve infrastructure and strengthen the quality of health services for the community.

Starting April 10, services previously provided at the Aserrí Health Area will be offered at the Desamparados Health Area. The new temporary location is situated 600 meters south and 25 meters west of Multicentro, in Urbanización Monte Claro, Desamparados. The Ministry thanked residents for their understanding during this period.

“El Ministerio de Salud agradece la comprensión de la población ante estas medidas, que forman parte de los esfuerzos institucionales para mejorar la infraestructura y fortalecer la calidad de los servicios,” said the Ministry in its statement.

Residents are advised to plan their procedures ahead of time and stay informed through official Ministry channels for any further updates. Contact information and operating hours remain available for those seeking assistance.
