The Ministry of Health has announced that the Dirección Región Rectoría de la Salud Pacífico Central and the Área Rectora de Salud Chacarita will temporarily suspend in-person services due to office relocation and infrastructure improvements. The suspension will take place only on February 26, 2026, as part of the move and adaptation to new facilities during the week of March 2 to March 6, 2026.

To maintain service continuity, additional staff will be available at the Área Rectora de Salud Barranca on that day to receive and process requests.

Starting February 27, 2026, both offices will operate from their new location at Plaza La Sirena, El Roble de Puntarenas, located 50 meters northeast of the entrance to Hotel Fiesta Resort.

“The Ministry of Health thanks the public for understanding these measures, which are part of institutional efforts to improve infrastructure and strengthen service quality,” according to a statement from the ministry.

Users are advised to plan ahead for their procedures and stay updated through official channels for any further information.
