Dragana Radulovic, the newly appointed ambassador of Montenegro to Costa Rica, has presented her credentials to Dr. Arnoldo André, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Worship. The presentation took place in San José on January 22, 2026.
Radulovic holds a degree in English Language and Literature from the University of Montenegro. She began her diplomatic career in 2000 and was named ambassador in 2009.
Her previous roles include serving as Advisor to the Prime Minister for Foreign and Security Policy between 2019 and 2020, during which she chaired the Government Commission for Countering Hybrid Threats. From 2015 to 2019, she was Ambassador and Permanent Representative of Montenegro to NATO, where she contributed directly to Montenegro’s Euro-Atlantic integration process.
Earlier in her career, Radulovic served as Director General for NATO and Security Policy from 2013 to 2015 and participated actively in working groups that led Montenegro into NATO membership. She was also appointed Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador to Austria from 2009 to 2013 with simultaneous representation before the OSCE, United Nations, and other international organizations based in Vienna. Additionally, she represented Montenegro non-residently before Slovakia and the Czech Republic.
Her experience includes key positions related to cooperation with international organizations such as Deputy Minister for Multilateral Affairs (2005–2007) and Deputy Minister for EU and NATO affairs (2007–2009). She has also served as Advisor to the Minister of Interior (2004) and has experience in the non-governmental sector.
