Monteverde health office relocates; temporary closure set for February 26

The Ministry of Health has announced that the Monteverde office of the Montes de Oro Health Area will temporarily close on Thursday, February 26, 2026. The closure is due to the process of relocating and upgrading its facilities.

During this day, in-person services at the Montes de Oro Health Area will not be available. Regular operations are expected to resume at a new permanent location starting Friday, February 27, 2026. The new office will be located at the Municipalidad de Monteverde.

The Ministry expressed appreciation for public understanding regarding these changes. “The Ministry of Health thanks the population for their understanding of these measures, which are part of institutional efforts to improve infrastructure and strengthen service quality,” according to an official statement.

Users are advised to plan any procedures in advance and stay updated through official channels for further information or updates.
