One dead, one injured after motorcycle crash on Route 36 near Sixaola

A traffic accident on Route 36, which connects Bribrí and Sixaola in Limón, resulted in one fatality and another person seriously injured on Friday. The incident was reported at 5:36 p.m.

According to initial reports, two men riding a motorcycle without helmets or protective vests collided with a stationary object. The cause of the crash is still under investigation.

The injured man was taken in serious condition to the Daytonia clinic for medical attention.

Authorities from the Fuerza Pública and Transit Police secured the scene as they awaited the arrival of the Judicial Investigation Agency (OIJ) to handle removal of the body and continue the investigation.
