Two days before the presidential elections, a large gathering took place at the Fuente de la Hispanidad in San Pedro. The event, called the “Gran caravana nacional,” saw participants waving flags from various political parties and singing both the National Anthem and the Hymn to September 15.
The caravan began at 10 p.m. from Teletica’s facilities in La Sabana, following the conclusion of a debate on Canal 7. It traveled through San Pedro and ended in Montes de Oca. Many vehicles participated in what was described as a demonstration for democracy and civic unity.
Supporters from different parties, including PLN, FA, and CAC, joined together at the roundabout near midnight on January 29. The event was marked by songs and displays of party colors as attendees celebrated ahead of election day.
