The Directorate General of Road Education announced on April 20 that practical driving tests originally scheduled for Friday, May 8 will be moved to Monday, June 1. The change is due to a public holiday granted for the transfer of powers.

This adjustment affects all users who had appointments for practical tests on that date. The Directorate confirmed that individuals will keep their original appointment time and location as previously arranged for May 8.

Users can verify the updated details of their rescheduled test through the Driver Accreditation System at https://servicios.educacionvial.go.cr/Formularios/ConsultarPruebas. Those unable to attend the new date may cancel their appointment online at https://servicios.educacionvial.go.cr/Formularios/CancelarCitaPractica and book a new slot based on availability.

The Directorate also said there were no theoretical test appointments set for May 8, so this service will not be affected by the closure. All offices and branches related to driver accreditation services will remain closed on May 8 in observance of the holiday.

These changes ensure that users are informed in advance and can adjust their plans accordingly.
