Paula Brenes, a journalist at Multimedios, described on Apr. 24 how her co-host Giovanni Calderón’s routine before filming the show ‘Mi casa es tu casa’ causes her stress. Brenes said that Calderón, known as “el Profe,” often arrives just minutes or even seconds before the live broadcast begins.
Brenes explained that this recurring situation makes her tense as she prepares for each episode.
A video shared by Brenes showed everyone ready in their positions while Calderón entered the set with only 30 seconds to spare. The text in the video noted: “A nada de empezar se pone a dar órdenes.”
Despite these close calls, the program started smoothly each time. At the end of one episode, Calderón addressed the issue humorously after being confronted about his timing: “Espero que (Paula) lo pueda sostener frente a mí… a mí se me hace que tanto Paulita como usted le están buscando cuatro patas al gato, hasta demanda merece eso porque no son 30 segundos, llego faltando 20, mucha carrera con el guion y todas esas cosas, pero salimos al aire en punto.”
Both presenters continue to host ‘Mi casa es tu casa,’ which airs daily from 5 p.m. to 6 p.m.
