The competition on the television show “Mira quién baila” continued with the elimination of former footballer Randall Brenes. The decision was made during the Sunday, October 19 gala, where Brenes lost in the voting duel against comedian Daniel Montoya. Both contestants had been at risk of elimination since the previous gala, and both had previously faced nomination.

Brenes and Montoya performed energetic routines, but public support ultimately favored Montoya, allowing him to remain in the competition. As part of the show’s format, Brenes will donate $3,000 to the social cause he represented during his time on the program. Montoya will continue competing for the grand prize of $15,000, which is also designated for a charitable organization.

This marks the third elimination of the season. In earlier episodes, former beauty queen Ivonne Cerdas was the first to leave the show during the third gala, followed by journalist Thais Alfaro in the fourth.

The remaining contestants include Montoya, Ítalo Marenco—who won $1,000 as the “WAO couple” alongside Lucía Jiménez—Ericka Morera, Jeff On, Mariana Uriarte, Katherine Campbell, and Neto Rangel.
