The Costa Rican Petroleum Refinery (RECOPE) announced several initiatives on its official Twitter account, highlighting recent technological upgrades and recruitment efforts. The tweets detail advancements in infrastructure at the Moín terminal and improvements to operational systems.

#PlanRescate #MoviendoCR #Recope https://t.co/dUmchtXGpI”. This statement emphasizes the installation of a new filtration system in marine lines and pipelines at the Moín terminal, which aims to provide cleaner fuels.

Two days later, on September 18, 2025, RECOPE shared another update: ” Esta Administración lo hizo posible. According to this post, upgrades to SCADA and ARAI systems have brought international standards of efficiency and reliability to “muelle 5.0,” ensuring continuity in operations.

Later that same day, RECOPE published a call for electrical engineers to join their team: ” ¡Unite al equipo de Recope! #Recope #MoviendoCR https://t.co/rTzgNv18YJ”.

These announcements are part of ongoing efforts by RECOPE—Costa Rica’s state-owned petroleum company responsible for refining and distributing fuels—to modernize infrastructure and attract skilled professionals amid sector-wide changes in energy supply management.
