Repretel recently held a Christmas party for its employees, where an unexpected moment involving one of its journalists was captured on video and shared on TikTok. During the event, Alejandro Coto, a journalist from Deportes Repretel, joined national singer Toledo on stage to perform together.
Coto approached the stage to sing the song “En el bar,” encouraged by his colleagues despite claiming he did not know the lyrics. Toledo responded with humor, saying: “I saw him singing there, be quiet! Relax, I’ll help you.” Coto then took the microphone and performed a duet with Toledo, smiling and even asking for applause from those present.
In the first verses of the song, when Coto sang “tomando en el bar, pienso en ti,” Toledo interrupted jokingly: “You shouldn’t be thinking about me,” which caused laughter among those attending. The segment ended with applause from Coto’s colleagues and another joke from Toledo about Coto’s hairstyle.
Alejandro Coto has been part of Repretel for several years. He recently returned to the sports section after a period working on ‘Giros’.
