Keylor Navas faced a challenging match as Pumas lost 4-1 to San Diego FC in the first leg of the Concacaf Champions Cup series. The Costa Rican goalkeeper conceded four goals, three of which came from set pieces. The fourth goal resulted from a defensive lapse by his team.

San Diego FC managed to score all four goals in less than 20 minutes during the second half, overturning Pumas’ initial advantage. Alex Mighten scored the third goal for San Diego FC, while Manu Duah equalized with a header for the first goal.

The result puts Pumas at a disadvantage ahead of the return leg in this regional tournament.
