Fernando de Narváez, creator of Los Zumbis, arrived in Costa Rica this week to participate as one of the special guests at MegaCon 2026. According to La Nación, “Y este regalo de los Zumbis no era para menos, pues el colombiano Fernando de Narváez, papá de las divertidas criaturas, es uno de los invitados especiales de la convención.”
The announcement also clarified that this special May 1 edition does not count toward participation in the raffle for a Honda Navi motorcycle. To enter the raffle, participants must collect five maps and five posters published by La Nación and complete a form accessible via QR code printed in the newspaper.
