Tropical, a leading soft drink brand in Costa Rica, has released two new limited-edition flavors for the summer season: White Tea Melon and White Tea Watermelon. Both drinks are zero sugar and contain natural tea extract. They will be sold in 500 ml bottles and are available only until the first week of April 2026.

The launch is part of a campaign called “If you don’t get the vibe, refresh yourself with Tropical,” which encourages people to enjoy summer moments regardless of their plans or moods. The company plans to promote these new products through a national tour across beaches and highways during Easter Week, targeting travelers and vacationers throughout different regions.

A central feature of this promotional effort is the involvement of Pedro, the brand’s character, who leads the “Salva Vibras” squad. Along with two other characters, Pedro will visit popular destinations to offer Tropical drinks as a way to improve summer experiences.

Maria Pía Robles, Corporate Relations Director at FIFCO, said: “Our product portfolio evolves with people and their consumption moments. This Tropical launch combines innovation, flavor, and zero-sugar options, aligned with current preferences and with a campaign that connects with everyday life, no matter how summer is experienced.”

These two drinks expand Tropical’s lineup to 12 flavors overall and increase its zero-sugar offerings to eight options. The company has been a leader in its category for over 22 years and continues to introduce products aimed at meeting changing consumer demands by providing sugar-free beverages made from natural ingredients.
