Two men killed in shooting in Limoncito, Limón

Two men were shot and killed on April 26 in the community of Limoncito, Limón. The incident took place Saturday night, with police officers from Fuerza Pública responding to the scene.

The deaths were confirmed by the Costa Rican Red Cross, which said that a report of people injured by gunfire was received at 9:03 p.m. Several emergency units arrived at the location and found both victims dead with multiple gunshot wounds on different parts of their bodies.

Authorities have not yet released the identities of the two men or provided further information about possible additional injuries or details regarding how the events unfolded.
