Unafut expresses condolences after death of press chief’s grandmother

The National Union of First Division Football Clubs (Unafut) has announced the passing of Flora Cordero Picado, grandmother of Allan Fernández, who serves as the head of press for Unafut. The announcement was made prior to the start of matchday 11 in the Clausura 2026 tournament.

In a statement shared on social media, Unafut said: “We express our deepest condolences to him and his family in this difficult moment.”

The organization publicly acknowledged its grief and extended support to Fernández and his family during this period.
