Mary Munive Angermüller, Vice President and Minister of Health, will attend the 158th session of the Executive Board of the World Health Organization (WHO), scheduled from February 2 to 7, 2026 in Geneva, Switzerland.

The meeting will address several key topics, including universal health coverage, primary health care, communicable diseases, WHO’s work in health emergencies, and the impact of chemicals, waste and pollution on human health. The agenda also includes a report from the Programme, Budget and Administration Committee of the Executive Board.

The WHO Executive Board consists of 34 technically qualified members elected for three-year terms. Its main functions are to implement decisions and policies set by the World Health Assembly, advise it, and generally facilitate its work.

During Mary Munive Angermüller’s absence due to this trip, Deputy Minister Allan Mora will serve as acting Minister of Health.

“During the trip of the minister, Ing. Allan Mora Deputy Minister of Health will assume the position of acting minister.”
