A 20-year-old man died on March 24 after being shot in Siquirres, Limón. The incident was reported to the Red Cross at 8:08 p.m., and when emergency responders arrived, they confirmed that the young man had died from multiple gunshot wounds, including one to the head.

The Judicial Investigation Agency (OIJ) took charge of the scene and was responsible for removing the body and sending it to the Judicial Morgue. Authorities have not yet determined a motive or how the crime occurred.
